NTU Scales Mentoring to Over 10,000 Students
Singapore’s top research university scales personalised mentoring, connecting over 10,000 students with mentors across industries.
The Challenge
As a top research-intensive university serving 35,000 students, NTU Singapore has long recognised mentoring as a critical element in preparing its graduates for the workforce. However, as engagement numbers grew, NTU’s legacy system struggled to keep pace. Manual tasks, inefficient matching, and lack of scalability began to constrain impact. Administrators needed a solution that could grow with them.
The Solutions
To meet this challenge, NTU implemented Kinobi Mentoring, a flexible SaaS platform tailored for higher education. The goal is to streamline both Open and Structured Mentoring engagements while minimising administrative burden. In just three months, Kinobi was customised, deployed, and fully integrated, complete with training, documentation, and migration support.
