Singapore’s leading labour movement community enhances career transition support for Professionals, Managers, and Executives (PMEs) through a structured digital mentoring platform powered by Kinobi.
NTUC PMEs supports a diverse community of professionals navigating career transitions, from fresh graduates to displaced employees seeking new opportunities. While its Executive Mentorship Programme already connected members with experienced industry leaders, scaling these interactions effectively was a challenge. Manual processes, dispersed communications, and limited tracking capabilities made it difficult to sustain engagement and measure impact across multiple mentoring cohorts.
With nearly 1,000 mentors and mentees involved in five active mentoring programmes, NTUC PME needed a centralised system to streamline mentor–mentee matching, standardise progress tracking, and provide timely support. The goal was to build a mentorship ecosystem that could deliver meaningful guidance at scale without compromising the quality of interactions.
NTUC PME partnered with Kinobi to customise its mentorship platform for the PME community. Originally designed for university undergraduates, Kinobi’s platform was adapted to match mentees with industry-specific mentors, manage milestones, and automate key administrative tasks. This transformation allowed NTUC PME to create a structured and data-driven mentoring experience tailored to the unique needs of its members.
Through matching configuration tools, automated scheduling, and centralised communication channels, the platform enabled programme administrators to manage each mentoring journey efficiently. Comprehensive onboarding materials, which included live demonstrations, PDF guides, and video tutorials, ensured that mentors, mentees, and administrators could fully leverage the system. The result was a mentoring environment that combined human connection with the efficiency of digital infrastructure.
