What we were tackling

Ngee Ann Polytechnic hosts a Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP) for Year 3 students to gain experience in startups across various regional markets. Thus, they were looking to equip their students with career preparation skills such as resume writing and interview training for the programme.

Solutions we provide

Kinobi ran a 2-day Career Preparation workshop on 7-8 June 2022 for 34 students across 13 academic disciplines. This workshop focused on guiding students on how they can write a professional resume as well as how to conduct themselves well in an interview setting.

The workshop also consisted of real time practice and application for students to improve through feedback being given by instructors and peers on the spot.

Impacts we’ve made

The NP students gave the workshop a rating of 4.75/5, indicating that majority of the students found the workshop helpful and applicable.

Other case studies

UMY warmly welcomes the partnership with Kinobi. We think the features they offer can help our students to find internships or jobs, especially now that companies are using ATS-friendly resumes. We can also register our partner companies into the job portal provided by Kinobi.
