Indonesia’s leading public university boosts internship readiness with a digital career preparation programme powered by Kinobi.
With more than 55,000 students and active participation in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) needed a structured and scalable solution to help students prepare for internships. Many lacked confidence in creating professional CVs or navigating recruitment processes, making it crucial to offer unified support across faculties.
UNESA partnered with Kinobi to launch the Virtual Internship Hub, a digital platform offering guided CV creation, practical workshops, and access to internship opportunities that align with MBKM requirements. Kinobi’s tools enabled self-paced learning, scalable support, and seamless monitoring of student progress.

UMY warmly welcomes the partnership with Kinobi. We think the features they offer can help our students to find internships or jobs, especially now that companies are using ATS-friendly resumes. We can also register our partner companies into the job portal provided by Kinobi.
