What we were tackling

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta plans to improve the work readiness of its students. UMY believes that success is said to be successful if it can be measured. They also believ that a good career program must have a measurable impact and be actionable.

They decided to invest in Kinobi’s resume builder, job portal, and tracer study features. The hope is to have data transparency that can be used to justify UMY’s desire to accelerate students and alumni’s journey to finding meaningful jobs.

Solutions we provide

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta wanted to increase students’ and alumni’s engagement by ensuring they have the know-how to find a job, namely making good resumes. UMY is convinced that their students could use Kinobi’s platform immediately.

Not only that, UMY also partners up with companies to provide job opportunities for their students through Kinobi’s job portal. This collaboration is only through 1 platform, UMY and the company can work well together and publish existing job vacancies.

Impacts we’ve made

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta managed to reach 700+ students within 3 months. Not only from the number of students, students’ engagement is also very high with more than 1,000+ top-notch resumes having been created within the same period. This number reflects UMY’s strong intention to improve their students’ chances in the job market.

Other case studies

UMY warmly welcomes the partnership with Kinobi. We think the features they offer can help our students to find internships or jobs, especially now that companies are using ATS-friendly resumes. We can also register our partner companies into the job portal provided by Kinobi.
